Chili Recipe

So this is actually my sister Camille's delicious Chili recipe, but it is so good and so easy to make! So I thought I would share it with everyone!
You will need:
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 chopped onion
1 20oz. can Rosarita Enchilada sauce
2 15oz. cans Ranch Style baked beans
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp. Cumin
1/4 tsp. Chili powder
1 can of corn
1 can of red kidney beans
First cook, and drain the hamburger. Then place into a slowcooker (Crock Pot) with all remaining ingredients to simmer for 2 hours on low!
It really is so so easy to make, but is seriously one of the best chili's I have ever had! We make it all the time for parties and stuff and get tons of compliments on it! I hope you all enjoy it!!
Thanks Camille for sharing this recipe with me!

I want to go on a trip..

I need to get out of Utah for a bit. Not because I don't like it here, and not because I want to get away from anyone... but just because I am SICK of the COLD!! I really really just need to sit in the hot sun for a while and not do anything but that! My spring break is coming up.. only 3 weeks away.. and I have no plans! If anyone feels like taking a road trip with me.. let me know! I am even considering just going to Las Vegas or St. George! Anywhere with heat! I am being totally serious and really want to go somewhere!! So I am getting out of here.. all I wanna know is.. Who's comin with me?!

Recipe #1

So in response to Emily's blog, I cooked last night! So I guess I better post my recipe on here for everyone to read, so they can make this lovely meal too! I made a delicious

Fiesta Pasta Salad

This salad is great because you can eat it as a side dish, like when you have a BBQ, or you can eat it as your main dish! Which is what my family usually does! Its so fast and easy to make, and very delicious!! :)

Ingredients:

-20 oz (or one full bag/box) of Bow-Tie Pasta

-2 cups of Light Miracle Whip or Mayo

-2 cups of Buttermilk

-1 packet of Hidden Valley Fiest Ranch Dip (This is just the powder mix)

-1 can of Garbanzo Beans

-1 can of Kidney Beans

-1 can of Corn

-1 can sliced olives

-1 Red Onion-Chopped

-1 Green Pepper-Chopped

Directions:

Cook pasta in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes. While pasta is cooking mix all other ingredients in a LARGE bowl! Once the pasta is done, just mix in really well with all other ingredients and refrigerate! It doesn't taste very good when it's warm! Once it is cold, you can serve with Tortilla chips and shredded cheese! :) I hope you like it as much as my family does!

Valentines Day! :)

Yesterday I had a great Valentines Day date! It was so so cute, and thoughtful! I loved every minute of it!
First, Matt came and picked me up, and when I opened the door, he had these beautiful flowers in hand, along with some home-made bread for my mom! He picked out each individual daisy because he knows they are my favorite!! So before we left, I had to hurry and put them in some water so they wouldn't die! Of course I was making us late for our 5:15 "reservation"!
Once we left my house, Matt kept telling me that we were going to miss our reservation and hopefully we could still be seated! He wouldn't tell me where we were going or what we were doing because he wanted it all to be a surprise! We were headed south, so I figured we were probably going to dinner somewhere in salt lake! But then Matt got off the exit in bountiful, and then started complaining on how he didn't mean to get off, and that now we would be really late. So I told him to just get back on the freeway, he was headed that way, but passed the freeway entrance! I was so confused, and he just started laughing! He kept saying we were lost, and all this stuff.. but really he was just lying to me! So finally we pull up to his sister Frit's (Kim) house! We walk in, and everything is candle-lit, and decorated so cute!! Frit's best friend, Krista had made us a delicious dinner and had set everything up for us! There was even chocolate cake for dessert! Matt had planned it all out, and I had no idea! I was so surprised, and I thought it was so cute!!

After we ate, Matt had gotten the movie "An Affair to Remember", because Sleepless in Seattle, is my favorite movie, and it is all based around this movie! I had never seen it before, and so he got it for us to watch! It was so good! I loved it!
It was such a fun night, and I am so glad I got to spend it with my best friend!!
Happy Valentines Day!!

12 Inches... and Plus some!

Well.... I DID IT!!!!
It is all finally gone!! Today I cut about 12 inches off! We didn't measure exactly, and think it may have been a little bit more then 12, but that's not important! The fact is, I finally did it! And boy does it feel great!!!
I was so excited to cut it off, and when I got to the salon to get it done, I wasn't even scared! I am not regretting this decision at all! :)

I went from this...

To This!!

Side view..
And there it is! All my locks of hair, gone!!

Sorry there are no photos of the front... It had been a long day, and my make up was pretty much off at this point! I will get some up soon though!
Enjoy! :)
