Getting the hang of 2 girls.

Being a family of 4 has been a new adjustment for all of us. The first few weeks after Dottie was born I was a little more than emotional, and was really nervous to be home alone with two kids. Once it finally happened though, everything went smoothly and I have loved every minute! Since I have always worked, I haven't always been home for Lucy's nap, or home enough to set a real routine for every day life. Other than our routine of Work/day care and being home for dinner and bed time. So it has been so much fun to be home with my sweet Lucy all day and get to play with her, send her on play dates, and put her down for naps. I know that sounds dumb, but something about going through all those steps is very motherly and very rewarding. I have realized I take a lot of pictures of my sleeping children, but I can't help it, they are so so sweet while they sleep. Being home and enjoying the quite of my house while my two girls sleep is priceless. Nothing is better. I actually started a bad habit of having lucy take her naps on the couch so I could be next to her, rather than putting her down in her bed. But I am soaking up every minute I can of these two. 

I sure love being a mom to these two girls. It is the best job in the whole world!!
