The Latest and Greatest!

First off... A few weeks ago Matt's mom and sisters were in the Women of Steel Triathlon down in American Fork! It was so much fun to go down and watch them do it! It made me wish I had done it again! Oh well.. there is always next year!

So this is a picture of all of us that were down there!
Then last week, we took our first boating trip of the year! It was still way cold, so only Zann got in the water.. but it was still fun to go out! This is little miss Lola.. it was her first boating experience and she loved it!
This weekend, I was able to go down to Manti with Matt and his family for Memorial day! It was so much fun! We played jacks, had a picnic, played kick ball and all sorts of fun things! This is Matt and me on our way down.. unfortunately I was feeling a little sick.. I wasn't too surprised though, I get car sick driving to Salt Lake! ha
This is us at the cemetery today! We were matching.. I should of gotten a full body shot!
and.... the Manti Temple!! ♥
It was such a fun little trip! I can't wait to go on more trips with Matt!

My "Sissy's"

Ok, I don't actually use the word "sissys" in my regular vocabulary... But Camille started using it because Courtney called Morgan that, and thought it was adorable! So.. now we are often refered to each other as "sissy"! ha ha
In all seriousness though... I have great sisters! I was just reading my sister, Brittany's, blog, and she talked about good friends and family, and how blessed she is to have them in her life... As I read it, I too realized how blessed and lucky I am to have such good friends and family, especially my sisters.
We don't always get along, and find ourselves in stupid fights or arguments because we all unfortunately have the francis trait of being Stubborn, and we HATE to be wrong.. but at the end of the day, we love each other the same!
Sisters are great! They let you laugh with them, cry with them, or even just talk with them! I am glad I have my sisters!
We might not always agree with eachother...........
But we will always support eachother!
The best part about have them........
is you get these......
Little Nieces and Nephews...
oh and Brother in-Laws too! :)

My Oldest sister Camille! She gave me my first Nieces and Nephews, and has always been just what a big sister should be! She is always up for a good talk! Even if we have to stay up all night to finish! She has taught me how important it is to be a mom! She loves her kids so much, and even though they have their own set of trials, she is always working to be better!
This is her cute family, Camille, Mark, Spencer, Morgan, Jason and Courtney!

The second oldest girl, Jennifer! She has always been the "Mediator", she doesn't like tention and is such a good problem solver. She is a spiritual giant!! She has a way of always incorporating gospel priciples into a situation, and is constantly strengthening my testimony! She is kind of the one that brings all of us together!!
This is her little family, Jennifer, Dave and Baby Belle!

And of course... Brittany! When we were little... I don't think we went a day without fighting! We were always on each others nerves, and there was no chance of us agreeing on anything! ha, Brittany is such a free spirit and has taught me to live in the moment and just do what makes me happy! She is a good teacher, leader and big sister! She is ALWAYS up for doing something fun, and we often find ourselves singing with eachother! :) One day, she will have a beautiful little family of her own! With little Jack and Henry! I can't wait! But until then, I will enjoy all the one on one time with her I can get!

Well.. this is far too long! But... I have sisters, and I love them!

Be Jealous!! :)

Delicious!

So I made this a while ago, when it was still a little colder outside.. but it sure was delicious!! Thanks to Rachel Ray, you can enjoy...

Tomato Vegetable Pasta Soup!
It really is so good! You should try it tonight!!
Okay so here are the Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Zucchini, grated
2 Carrots, peeled and grated
1 Onion, chopped
1 Bay Leaf
Salt and Pepper
1 Can Garbanzo Beans
2 Roasted Red Peppers, chopped
(the kind in the can are best!)
1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
1 Quart Chicken Stock
1/2 pound Penne Pasta
1/4 Cup Pesto Sauce (I used a packet, and made it myself)
Directions:
Heat a soup pot over medium heat, with the Olive Oil. Add the zucchini, carrots, onion, celery, bay leaf, salt and pepper, and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Stir in the garbanzo beans, red peppers, tomatoes and stock. Put the lid on the bot and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until done, 6-7 minutes.
Turn off heat and stir in pesto sauce. If it gets too thick, add a little water, remove bay leaf and serve!
I served mine with warm rolls, and a green salad!!

Enjoy! :)
