Lucy turns 3!

On July 30th, our sweet Lucy girl turned 3!!
We celebrated her all day, starting in the morning before Matt went to work, she opened all her presents! Then we met Matt for lunch at one of her favorite spots, noodles, for some Mac and Cheese. later that night was Matt's work party (which is with his whole family) and they rented out all of Roy aquatic center, since our families were invited we decided to celebrate her birthday there. She thought the whole thing was just for her! :) We all had fun swimming, eating cake and hanging out! She had such a great day and I can't believe she is already 3 years old!! We sure love Lucy so much!! She is so obedient, sweet, a great helper, SOOO funny and cute as ever! We are lucky to be her parents.

July

We celebrated the 4th of July the best way we know how, with the Olsen's at Shmovels house. We decided to skip the parade this year, at this point, Dottie was a bit of a sad baby and I knew she would scream the entire time in the heat with all that noise, so we spent the morning together, filling up water balloons and getting ready for the party. Once we got the the Taylors we had lunch, a waterfight, made snowies and let the kids run wild! lucy loves playing with her cousins so much, and I am so happy she has so many close to her age!

After partying there, we headed to the Hendry's house with the whole Olsen crew. The Hendry's are Zann's sister and husband. They have a huge, beautiful house up in fruit heights with a great pool and sports court. We went swimming and played pickleball. It was so much fun and it was so nice of them to let us use their house while they were out of town! :)

Every year, Matt's grandma has a party at boondocks for all the grandkids. We get to go and have dinner and spend the night playing all together. Lucy loved it and I totally dominated at Lazer Tag! :)

We had a little pool party and birthday celebration with my whole family on Belle's birthday! It was so fun to all hang out together swimming and playing a chuck-e-cheese. Lucy took swim lessons the first half of July and improved so much! She isn't scared to jump into the water anymore and likes practicing her kicks and blowing bubbles.

We also took advantage of Jeff and Aimee having a pool at their apartments and went swimming another time! It was fun to hang out with Jeff and swim all day long!

Dottie's hair continues to grow out of control and she can have some awesome hair do's! :)
She is growing like a weed.

SOOO many of our summer days were spent at the park. The new park in Syracuse is one of our favorites! Especially when our friend Henry joins us! :)

June

Worst blogger ever. Trying to quickly document a few things so I can finish up my blog books and have everything in order :)

I chopped of my  hair just a few weeks into summer! It was just what I needed. I donated 10 inches?? Maybe it was 8, now I can't remember... either way, It felt so nice to have a change and cut off some length!

Lucy loves taking pictures with Dottie and often asks for me to take one of her or the both of them together. I never say no! :)

Celebrating Syracuse Heritage Days. I love summer because there is always a good carni going on somewhere! Lucy loved it this year, going on some rides and seeing all the people. We attempted fireworks this year and didn't make it all the way through. By the time they started both girls were in tears and were sooo tired! We ditched out early and got them home, bathed and in bed! Maybe next year it will be better.

One morning we got a phone call from Zann saying he was on the lake and to grab the kids and meet him and his family up there. We picked up Camer and Sylvie and headed up to pineview. Lucy was hesitant about jumping in the water (I dont blame her, fish are scary) but both ladies looked so cute in their swim suites. Lucy loved playing with Lola and Crosby on the boat and I always enjoy  my time with the calls.

Starting off Summer.

After some dentist appointments one day, we decided to hit up the zoo while we were in the area. Lucy loves going to the zoo. Looking at the animals is always so exciting to her. She loves all animals and is such a great little zoo-goer. We had fun together as a little family, surprisingly it wasn't too hot or too crowded!

Lucy is always asking to hold Dottie. She likes to hold her sitting up, since Dottie is a little stronger now and can hold her head up really well, Lucy thinks its really fun to set her on her lap. it is the sweetest!

A couple randoms... just a kitty reading her books, without any clothes on. :)
And Dottie sleeping while we were having a picnic in the backyard.

Half of the household getting naps in... as for the other half, it is a rare occasion that we get any sleep.
